As a Registered Midwife with our organization, you will have the unique opportunity to provide culturally safe and high-quality care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote Northern Territory communities.

  • This role offers short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT clinics, where you will work collaboratively with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

You will be immersed in Aboriginal culture and have the chance to explore some of Australia's most breathtaking landscapes while delivering exceptional patient care.

  • Fully paid locum placements, including travel and accommodation expenses covered.
  • Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to facilitate your transition into remote healthcare.
  • Access to CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
Key Requirements:
  • Evidence of unrestricted registration as a registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in midwifery.
  • Minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Current recognized Immunisation certificate.
  • Current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card or willingness to obtain one.
