Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning patient disposition and managing those requiring critical care
  • Managing victims of chemical exposures, including those from terrorist attacks
  • Offering comprehensive care to inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Responding promptly to clinical inquiries from health professionals
  • Documenting all consultations and advice provided

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A registration as a medical practitioner with the relevant authority
  • Fellowship of a recognized college or equivalent
  • Appropriate clinical training in the field of clinical toxicology
  • Post-graduate academic qualification in clinical toxicology
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality patient care and team work
