Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team on a permanent part time basis.

The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive team to ensure high levels of patient care, and be available to work 12 hour shifts on a rotating roster.

This position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a state of the art facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence based, person centred patient care
  • Demonstrate professional practice as evidenced by adhering to AHPRA standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements and health policies
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
  • Lead quality improvement and safety management projects to deliver outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for safe practice
Essential Criteria
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in ICU/CCU or ED
  • Understanding of the Australian National Commission on Quality and Safety Ten National Standards
  • Ability to show initiative and work within a team
  • Excellent communication skills
