Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Logistics Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement, control, and maintenance of vehicles, drills, and products in an efficient and timely manner.

About this opportunity

This is a full-time position based in Stapylton, with potential travel required based on project needs. As a Logistics Officer, you will work closely with operations to ensure effective project controls systems are established and resolve any scheduling or planning issues that may arise.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Liaising with operations to establish appropriate project controls systems
  • Resolving scheduling and planning issues, referring complex matters to the Regional Manager as needed
  • Maintaining premises, assets, and communication channels efficiently
  • Coordinating repair requests through the MEX system
  • Tracking company vehicles and machinery
  • Providing forecasts and reports to management
  • Oversight of major project procurement and logistics

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a project management role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple processes simultaneously
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations
  • Ability to travel when required
