Transaction Payment Expertise

The Transaction Payment role is an exciting opportunity to specialize in Digital Banking and Payments.

This critical position requires expertise in card payments and transaction processing systems. As the go-to expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the speed, security, and compliance of every payment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 2nd and 3rd line application support for card payments systems, including transaction switch and scheme integrations.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting transaction issues, identifying fixes or vendor escalations.
  • Working closely with vendors, business SMEs, and internal teams to ensure everything from fraud detection to token assurance works smoothly and meets changing regulatory and customer expectations.
  • Enhancing our card processing systems to align with strategic digital initiatives.
  • Supporting our transition to tokenisation and smarter fraud monitoring.
  • Supporting releases, vendor fixes, and bug investigations.
  • Providing operational support for critical incidents and outages (including on-call).

We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge and understanding of the Payments Industry, including relevant schemes and laws. A background in financial services, ideally in a digital or retail banking environment, is also essential.
