Job Description

A leading organization is seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of Mobile Plant Technician in its Bowen Basin operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repair, and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment. This will involve diagnosing mechanical faults, troubleshooting issues, and replacing or repairing faulty components as needed.

Additionally, the Mobile Plant Technician will engage in safety processes including hazard identification, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a safe working environment while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Diesel Fitting) or equivalent;
  • Current Driver's Licence;
  • Valid HA/Coal Board Medical and Standard 11;
  • Proven experience with Heavy Mining Equipment;
  • Solid technical knowledge and fault-finding skills;
