About the Role
As a high-achieving software engineering manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining multiple high-performance software engineering teams. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to develop roadmaps, define delivery goals, and achieve them within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-performance software engineering teams
- Develop and implement effective team management strategies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business
- Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to other software engineers
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team
- Cultivate a healthy team culture centered on company values
Requirements:
- Experience leading development teams
- Significant experience building large-scale web software
- Experience working in an agile environment with continuous shipping
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to self-manage work
- Self-motivated with a track record of learning new technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities
- Tertiary degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related); MSc or PhD a plus
