We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • Strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java and Spring Boot
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform for deploying and managing scalable systems
  • Familiarity with Dynamo DB and Kafka
  • Some frontend experience (e.g. React, Angular, or similar) would be beneficial
  • Experience with observability tools (O11y), ideally Grafana
  • Strong ability to design systems for high scalability and performance
  • Proven capability to lead the delivery of technical projects
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their technical growth
