Project Civil/Structural Designer

Be part of a global team working on diverse projects. This role involves planning, developing, coordinating and reviewing civil/structural design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop designs for medium-sized projects or assignments in support of global business units.
  • Produce 3D models, drawings and documentation according to established design and scope.
  • Coordinate with other technical professionals to deliver results.
  • Communicate complex technical issues to management and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare and oversee the preparation of civil/structural design estimates and work plans.
  • Mentor junior designers and drafters to develop their skills.
  • Evaluate designs to ensure compliance with installation codes, regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of direct experience.

Skills:

  • Design and modelling of industrial structures and foundations.
  • Assistance in preparing discipline material take-offs.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to interact with a broader project team.
