Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our organization in Brisbane or Sydney. This key member of our design team will be responsible for overseeing project design and scope from tender through delivery to practical completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain the Design Plan for the duration of the project.
  • Coordinate all elements of the design between design team members.
  • Monitor the adequacy and effectiveness of design resources allocated to the project.
  • Ensure necessary reviews, verifications, and validations are planned and conducted.
  • Verify that the design conforms to safety, environmental, construction, commissioning, and operating requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree qualification to Bachelor status in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Civil/Structural. Prior experience managing large utilities projects will be highly regarded. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also required to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
