Material Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planning Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and configuring the SAP S/4HANA MRP module, ensuring seamless alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

This is a short-term contract aimed at optimizing material planning processes, enabling us to improve our procurement efficiency and streamline inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • SAP Implementation & Configuration:
    • Configure and implement the SAP S/4HANA MRP module, ensuring all configurations meet project objectives.
    • Perform thorough system testing and quality assurance to guarantee functionality meets expectations.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer:
    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to the procurement team on the new MRP functionality.
    • Provide instruction on using SAP for efficient material procurement, covering topics such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and goods receipts.
    • Guide staff on forecasting modules and their integration with MRP to enhance inventory management.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Analyze existing procurement and planning processes to identify areas for improvement using SAP functionalities.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and document new workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA MM module and functionality.
  • Proven experience with material procurement using SAP S/4HANA, including the creation and management of procurement documents.
  • Knowledge of SAP MRP configurations and forecasting modules.
  • Able to lead training sessions and transfer complex technical knowledge to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
