About this role

This technical project manager position is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP S/4HANA technical delivery. The successful candidate will ensure a structured and risk-mitigated transition from legacy systems within the SAP Activate Methodology framework.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager - SAP S/4HANA

Contract Duration: 16 months + possible extension

Location: Brisbane CBD (Hybrid work)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP S/4HANA technical delivery within the SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Apply extensive experience leading large-scale SAP technical projects, ideally with hands-on involvement in S/4HANA implementations.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system integration, data migration, and infrastructure planning.
  • Maintain excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Mitigate technical risks and ensure high system availability and performance during transitions.
  • Lead platform management projects across large multi-release SAP transformations.
Required Skills
  • Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, system integration, data migration, and infrastructure planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to mitigate technical risks and ensure high system availability and performance.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager (Solman), ChaRM and SAP transport management.
  • Robust practical understanding of enterprise release management practices.
