About the Role

Auto & General is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to transform our analytics and reporting capabilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for migrating our existing codebase to integrate with a new data source, optimising code for Power BI efficiency, and creating high-quality, modular code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate Existing Codebase: Assess the compatibility of current code with the new data source, refactor and optimise code to ensure seamless integration, update data GCP queries and connections, and test and debug to ensure smooth data flow and minimal disruptions.
  • Optimise Code for Power BI: Implement efficient data modeling and visualisation techniques, leverage Power BI's capabilities and optimisation features, and improve report and dashboard design to reduce rendering time and enhance user experience.
  • Develop High-Quality, Modular Code: Create robust, reliable, and fault-tolerant code with built-in error handling and logging, designed to be modular and adaptable with clear documentation and minimal dependencies.
  • Store and Manage Code: Store and manage code in a centralised repository, such as GitLab, and understand the CI/CD process.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
