The role of Aboriginal Clinician is an exciting opportunity to join our community team in delivering therapeutic and case management services to individuals across all ages, while providing cultural consultation to clients, communities, and professionals.
As a member of our team, you will be part of a tight-knit group that values integrity, inclusivity, and meaningful connection. You will collaborate with colleagues to promote these values and contribute to service delivery design to ensure people are seen, heard, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver therapeutic and case management services to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals across all ages.
- Provide cultural consultation to clients, communities, and professionals.
- Collaborate within the team to promote integrity, inclusivity, and meaningful connection.
This role requires applicants to have qualifications and experience in social work, counselling, or psychology. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to create Aboriginal community connections, engagement, and collaborations.
Eligible qualifications include Social Work qualification eligible for full membership to Australian Association of Social Workers, Counselling qualification with ACA L3-4 or PACFA Clinical Registrant status, Sydney University Aboriginal Qualification Pathway - Graduate Certificate in Human and Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma), or Psychology: General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with appropriate senior/advanced status as applicable.
