Guzman y Gomez is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Food Service Ambassador to join our team at Manly Wharf. About the Role

This role involves providing warm and friendly customer service, taking and processing orders accurately, preparing menu items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide a positive dining experience for all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take and process customer orders, handling cash and card transactions with precision.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of menu items, including crafting burritos and other specialties, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Cleaning and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the restaurant, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, contributing to a positive work environment through teamwork and a can-do attitude.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, while adapting to changing priorities and maintaining composure during busy periods.
  • Physical Stamina: Possess physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights, meeting the demands of a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Qualifications: Basic food preparation skills and willingness to learn new techniques, RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is advantageous, residence within 10km of Manly CBD preferred.

Compensation
