We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Manly Pacific. If you have a true passion for food and creative flair, this is the perfect opportunity to take your culinary career to the next level.

This exciting role will see you leading our kitchen team and overseeing the preparation of delicious meals for our guests. With your expertise in French cuisine and strong understanding of food safety requirements, you will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus and ensure adequate supplies for expected service levels.
  • Liaise with restaurant staff regarding menu availability and any relevant changes.
  • Maintain strict stock rotation and minimize wastage.
  • Co-ordinate the work of apprentices in food preparation and production.
  • Prepare and ensure availability of mis en place as required.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced, and cleaned.
  • Assist with roster preparation and authorize employee levels.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Chef with a genuine passion for food and creativity.
  • Knowledge of French cuisine preferred.
  • A strong understanding of food safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment.
