Senior Lawyer Advisor

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Labour, Employment & Workplace Safety group. This team of experts provides expert advice and representation to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.
The successful candidate will have over 25 lawyers in three Australian offices working across various sectors including health, sport, construction, banking and education.
We value a collaborative culture and strong mentorship from partners who promote development at every level.
Key Responsibilities- Representing employers in employment-related disputes, such as unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
- Advising and representing employers in substantial work health and safety investigations and prosecutions.
- Responding to regulator investigations and prosecutions.
- Providing strategic compliance advice to achieve client outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong problem-solving, drafting, advisory, organisational, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- A team focus with energy and enthusiasm; ability to network and build client relationships.
Ideally, you will have 5+ years experience in a commercial law firm or public sector experience is viewed favourably.
