Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Handyperson to join our team.

  • This role involves providing maintenance services to various departments and ensuring the overall efficiency of the building's systems.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance work, including delegating tasks to contractors and other maintenance staff when necessary.
  • They will also be responsible for raising work requests through our system and following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the building and its surroundings, plant, machinery, and equipment to optimize their performance.
  • Respond promptly to inter-departmental or guest requests regarding defects, repairs, and general assistance.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the hotel and implement preventative maintenance plans.

Requirements:

  • Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays as required by the property's needs.
  • Familiarize yourself with security protocols and access management processes.
  • Ensure high standards of hotel grooming at all times.

Working Environment:

  • Plant rooms, store rooms, risers, and switch rooms must remain hazard-free.
  • Clear paths of egress, fire exits, and emergency exists at all times.
  • Workshop cleanliness is essential.
