About this Role

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to older adults in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence.

  • Transportation to clients' homes will be provided using your own vehicle, for which you will receive a mileage allowance.

The position requires regular travel to the following locations: Coffs Harbour, Korora, Sapphire, Moonee, Emerald, Sandy, Woolgoolga, Arrawarra, Raleigh, Urunga, Valla, Nambucca, Macksville, and Bellingen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
  • Provide assistance with household chores, such as meal preparation and light cleaning.
  • Offer transportation to appointments and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Support with medication management.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and patience when working with people.
  • Holding previous experience in aged or community care is highly desirable, but we are open to individuals starting their career in aged care.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
