Our Sawtell Home Care service provides assistance to our clients in a way that promotes comfort, individuality, dignity, and personal choice. We work with our clients to design a care plan that suits them and offers support through services provided by our experienced care team.

We are looking for experienced, professional Care Workers who will be responsible for providing personal care services to meet the individual needs of our clients to maintain their safety, comfort and dignity. This care is provided as part of a holistic, person-centred care model that takes account of clients needs, whether physical, emotional, social or spiritual.

What We Need from You:

Previous work experience as a care professional in a Home/Community and/or Aged Care environment

Ability to utilise online tools to assist with records management and emails

Superior communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in dementia care will be an advantage

Certificate III in Individual Support

The requirements for this role are outlined in the position description & include:

Undertaking tasks to support daily living of our clients including personal care and domestic tasks

Assist with transportation and socialisation to encourage independence

Provide assistance with medications and attendance at medical appointments

Provide support for clients with cognitive impairment and apply behaviour management strategies as per care plans

Support the Home Care Coordinator to ensure all care needs are undertaken in a safe and timely manner

Previous experience in a similar position will be highly regarded.
