About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Architecture and Housing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our architecture and housing design programs and to play a key role in shaping the future of our faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and lead classes in architecture and housing design, with a focus on housing design
  • Design and develop learning activities and resources, and assessment and feedback using a range of approaches and learning environments
  • Lead the design/development of innovative approaches to teaching and learning in architecture and housing
  • Support learning progression with students to achieve high levels of student satisfaction, and high employability outcomes aligned with industry needs
  • Manage course administration as Course Authority, including academic quality assurance
Requirements
  • PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience in architecture and housing design
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • Experience as a university-level teacher and/or convenor within architectural design with focus on housing design
  • Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development in architecture and housing
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence
