  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to staff and students from all backgrounds, work effectively in a team environment, and to represent the faculty to external stakeholders and the general public.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise or co-supervise research of post-graduate coursework and HDR students.
  • A well-articulated research agenda, with a track record of successful health related research evidenced by publications and research student supervision or evidence of applied public health practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of confidentiality, anti-discrimination, staff and student equity, occupational health and safety as well as other relevant legislation.
Additional criteria for Associate Professor applicants:
  • Demonstrated ability to attract competitive grant funding at a national or international level
  • Demonstrated capacity to build collaborative partnerships with industry and professional bodies for sustained positive outcomes for teaching, and/or research and/or healthcare.
  • Experience and interest in interdisciplinary research and/or practice.
  • Evidence of leadership within the broader academic and/or non-academic community.
  • Evidence of mentoring and development of junior colleagues and students.
