About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our Darwin team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving sales growth in a well-established national retail chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage store operations, including banking, budgets, and rosters
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Manage trade accounts and stock control for the store
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining a fully stocked store
  • Manage staff hiring, promotions, and disciplinary procedures
  • Ensure thorough induction and training for all new staff members
  • Implement, train, and monitor company WH&S standards and policies

Requirements:

  • Manual Driver's License advantageous
  • Management experience in the retail sector is preferred
  • Experience in managing and meeting KPIs
  • Good level of computer literacy and MS applications
  • Ability to build effective working relationships
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Staff and customer management skills
  • Strong organisational skills
