CareFlight is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Controller to join our Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing stores activities and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with CareFlight and CASA requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Procurement: Source parts from domestic and international suppliers, balancing cost containment with asset availability using best practice processes.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a high standard of stores cleanliness and order, ensuring accurate stock levels and compliance with CareFlight and CASA procedures.
- Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate the movement of inventory in and out of stores, receiving and dispatching goods internationally and domestically.
- Quality Control: Monitor shelf life and tool life, track the repair of various items within specified timeframes, and report deviations before time overruns occur.
- Calibration and Maintenance: Coordinate the calibration of aircraft tooling and equipment.
- Inventory Audits: Carry out inventory stocktakes when required, in accordance with operational and compliance requirements.
- Technical Skills: Ability to identify parts from technical drawings, high-level computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enthusiastic team member with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Organizational and Time Management: Self-motivated, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Customer Service: Reliable, punctual, and customer service-focused.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience using Aerotrack, general knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance, and knowledge of CASA regulations and other safety compliance regulations.
- Certifications: Dangerous Goods Certificate, Forklift Licence.
