Care Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care assistant to join our team at Bonbeach. As a care assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

About the Home

Our care home is located in a beautiful residential area, close to local shops, schools, parks, and transport links. We have 96 beds, including dementia care and high care units. Our primary goal is to prioritize the health, lifestyle, and well-being of our residents.

Job Description

As a care assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining legislated safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms, communal, and living areas
  • Completing required documentation and reporting
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the broader team as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Cert III Hospitality or equivalent experience
  • Aged care experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
