About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Support team at Amazon. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting enterprise customers for software industries building applications and services on the AWS platform.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact for enterprise accounts
  • Understand customer outcomes and business goals
  • Make AWS service improvement recommendations that fit with customer strategy and architecture
  • Evaluate, analyze, and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customers
  • Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and prelaunch planning
  • Champion and advocate for customer requirements within AWS
  • Leverage key customer resolution tools across all service groups to facilitate rapid resolution of customer concerns
  • Share knowledge and innovate with leading technologists around the world
  • Work directly with Amazon Web Service engineers to ensure customer issues are resolved expediently
  • Plan and execute successful business-critical events including product launches, migrations, and modernizations for customers on AWS

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in at least two technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Applications Development
  • Software Engineering, SRE, or external customer-facing experience with clear articulation and presentation skills
  • 2+ years of experience in similar roles such as Senior Technical Consultant, Solutions Architect, IT Manager/Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Computer Science or Math background
  • Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies
  • Experience working with AWS technologies
  • Solid understanding of technology budget management

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
