Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Green Space Maintenance Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of green spaces across our council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

You will lead a team to ensure that lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard, completing tasks efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to maintain and enhance green spaces
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting, and zero-turn mowing
  • A valid Manual Driver's License
  • A White Card
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • The willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
