At Key Assets Australia, we offer a unique opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Specialist to play a vital role in our Disability Service. This exciting position involves working closely with children and their families to provide high-level, evidence-based clinical advice and professional information.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and families, be committed to creating better outcomes, and possess high-level interpersonal skills. They will also demonstrate problem-solving skills to successfully identify problems, develop solutions, and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner based in College Park, you will work with a range of stakeholders, including allied health teams, school staff, and families. You will provide individualised training to stakeholders, develop skill-building programs, and implement them effectively to support children to learn new skills.

">Required Skills and Qualifications">To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified in allied health or social and behavioural sciences
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in the discipline of service provision
- Experience and knowledge of challenging behaviour and intellectual disability
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating the provision of support to people living with a disability and their families and support networks
- Previous experience working with children with a disability
You will also need to hold a current blue (working with children) and yellow (positive notice card) or be willing to obtain one.
