Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to deliver high-quality projects that meet our safety and efficiency standards.

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who share a passion for innovative engineering and construction solutions. We work together to deliver large, complex projects for the infrastructure, energy, and resources industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cooperate with design teams to achieve satisfactory project performance
  • Develop detailed designs and collaborate with Technical Specialists to ensure specification compliance and technical integrity
  • Create technical documents required for procurement
  • Provide commercial awareness to ensure economic and safe equipment selection
  • Liaise with Project Controls personnel
  • Participate in Model Review, Design Review, HAZID/HAZOP, safety in design, constructability, and safety reviews
  • Offer construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Senior Design Engineer, preferably in contracting or consultancy organisations in the oil & gas, mining & minerals, and infrastructure/utilities sectors
  • Proven Australian experience in piping design, including concept development, FEED, and detail design phases, as well as piping layout
  • Extensive experience in detailed design, re-design, re-rating of piping, design modification, alterations to existing plant, pipe stress analysis, fluid-induced vibrations analysis, acoustic-induced vibration analysis
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience of 3D intelligent design and project delivery systems and procedures, such as Navisworks models
  • Application of brownfield experience and human factors in design
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment under time pressures and deadlines
