About the Role

This part-time position focuses on delivering career development learning (CDL) and employability services, programs, and resources informed by best practices and evidence. Under the direction of the Team Leader - Student Careers Consultant and Faculty Careers Specialists, the role also contributes to the development of new programs and resources.

This position plays a key role in advancing the University's goals related to student employability and experience, aligning with the strategic priority of empowering students for their future through excellent service provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement CDL and employability services, programs, and resources that align with best practices and evidence.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and resources under the direction of the Team Leader - Student Careers Consultant and Faculty Careers Specialists.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation and implement sector-leading practices that benefit students and solidify the University's reputation as a leader in higher education excellence.
  • Support learning and teaching transformation by developing innovative approaches to Career Development Learning (CDL) and Work Integrated Learning (WIL).
Requirements
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Progress towards or completion of a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education or a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
  • Strong skills in applying career development theories, evaluating labour market information, and using common office technologies.
  • An ethical, culturally sensitive approach, combined with excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
  • A focus on client/student needs in fast-paced, confidential environments and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
