Job Title: Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at IPAR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case management and assessment of clients to identify suitable employment opportunities;
  • Development and implementation of injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaboration with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Completion of various assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments;
  • Review of diagnosis, support of treatment plans, and identification of psychosocial barriers to employment.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, with empathy and understanding of clients' needs;
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to work independently;
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
