Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead. This role will provide supervision and support to our Behaviour Support Practitioners, while also delivering Person Centred Behaviour Support to a complex caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Develop and implement Person Centred Behaviour Support plans for customers with complex needs.
  • Deliver training and professional development to Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of Behaviour Support policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of Behaviour Support services.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working with people with disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Behaviour Support role, with a focus on clinical expertise.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eligibility to work as an NDIS Commission approved Advanced Practitioner.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
