Banking Relationship Manager

Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Network Banking (GNB) business, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing superior customer service, and driving revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Developing effective strategies to manage customer relationships and anticipating customer needs.
  2. Providing a high-quality service by owning customer engagement and striving for excellence in all interactions.
  3. Establishing a close working relationship with the Compliance team and effectively managing AML risks.
  4. Onboarding new facility clients and conducting annual reviews to ensure credit risks are effectively managed.
  5. Growing sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted onboarding of new customers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current experience in commercial banking, providing superior customer service.
  • Strong analytical skills with a strong commercial orientation and experience writing credit papers.
  • Portfolio management experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer due diligence processes.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously without supervision.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline.
