About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Shoalhaven Heads. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and essential items.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a sense of calm and reassurance.
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting independence and community involvement.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other complex conditions.

Requirements
  • 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work required.
