Private Credit Fund Operations Specialist

Fund accounting and operations are critical components of private credit funds, requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong understanding of fund oversight models, financial and fund accounting principles, and the ability to document complex financial matters.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing daily cash forecasting, monitoring investment activities, and managing liquidity requirements. This includes ensuring that capital calls and distributions are processed in a timely manner, as well as managing credit and leverage facility operations such as drawdowns, repayments, and covenant reporting.
An additional key responsibility is the production of investor reporting packages, including investment manager reports, portfolio details reports, and other ad-hoc reporting. The candidate will also be expected to aid the investment team in deal funding processes, ensure that fund budget and expenses align with fund documents and expectations, and facilitate external audits.
In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for success in this role.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Accounting qualification required
- 5+ years' experience in financial services
- Recent and relevant experience covering responsibilities stated above
- Prior experience working on closed and open-end funds/private credit fund accounting/administration/audit
- Experience in multi-currency reporting, hedging strategy, and new fund launches
- Proactive with the ability to work autonomously
- Attention to detail while functioning within global processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Power BI and Excel skills
