Employment Coach

The Employment Coach is a key position within Workskil Australia Ltd, responsible for delivering high-quality employment services to customers with a prior offender history. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that aims to secure great long-term job opportunities for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers, with a focus on improving their capacity to work by stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.
- Undertaking 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers and running of group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for customers.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, employers, and staff to achieve individual targets and contribute to a strong site team.
- Assessing, matching, and referring customers to appropriate job opportunities and advocating directly to employers.
- Meeting individual targets and contributing to a strong team culture that values excellent customer service, integrity, and honesty.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A genuine passion for helping people find employment and a drive to make a positive impact in the community.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of customers, employers, and staff.
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, including data entry and typing skills, Word, Excel, and Outlook experience.
- A minimum typing speed of 30 WPM and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in the employment services or call centre industry or similar, with a minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to study.

Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia Ltd is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax-effective salary packaging.
