Job Title: Executive Manager, Credit

The role of the Executive Manager, Credit is to oversee the management of credit risk across the organization. This involves working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that ensure effective credit risk management.

  • Manage a team responsible for independently validating credit risk models and other enterprise models.
  • Ensure all independent validation is delivered to a high quality, and within the times frames set by the business.
  • Represent the Head of Model Risk at forums such as the Credit Model Design Council and Project Advisory Groups.
  • Oversee Model Risk attendance at other forums, including model monitoring working groups.
  • Contribute to policy and reporting as it relates to credit, machine learning and algo trading models.
  • Ensure all validation outcomes are effectively communicated to calculation owners and the approver.
  • Establish healthy working relationships with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders.
  • Deliver process improvements, including automation in relation to validation workflows.
  • Lead, coach and provide technical support to a team of analysts with a clear focus on building bench strength.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will have excellent tertiary qualifications in a finance, mathematics, engineering or technology discipline and good level of experience credit risk in finance and/or risk including managing a broad scope of responsibilities with an execution and continuous improvement focus.

Demonstrable programming, modelling or data science knowledge is preferable.
