Key Roles and Responsibilities

The production management organization is a key component of our business applications, utilizing cutting-edge systems and processes. As an Associate in this role, you will be part of a unified production management team responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health of our critical business applications.

Responsibilities include managing incidents, communicating effectively with users, application owners, and senior stakeholders across all areas, improving application stability and performance by observing patterns, recurring failures, and/or issues. You will also adopt various tools developed by the engineering team to automate failures using machine learning techniques and notify discrepancies in the health of production and automation of health-restoration.

Additionally, you will identify alerts/processes that can be automated and work with the engineering team to automate them, challenge existing application setup, processing, and suggest different ways to solve problems or improve stability. You will actively participate in Change management process to manage risk in the production environment, build and improve run books for generalists to minimize operational errors and gain fungibility/efficiency, develop reports to track and manage application health and support service performance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of software development experience
  • Knowledge of structured or object-oriented programming languages, such as Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP, or Angular
  • One of the following RDBMS environments: Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2
