Theatre Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Specialist to join our team in Perioperative Services at Epworth Richmond. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, equipment handling, and transport services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic teaching hospital with a fast-paced and rapidly growing environment. You will have the chance to challenge your skills, broaden your experience, and grow your expertise through exposure to a wide range of clinical specialties in our 31 theatre complex.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation
- Prepare and maintain operating suite equipment
- Provide safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Theatre Technician qualification
- Minimum 6 months' theatre technician experience following qualification
- Clear understanding and use of medical terminology
- Ability to set-up medical devices / theatres

- Salary package up to $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time)
