We have a strong presence in the Australian market, with iconic brands such as Pink Batts and Sisalation. Our products are used extensively in the building industry, and we supply them through our specialist customer channels, which include builders, insulation 'supply and fit' businesses, commercial contractors, national outlets, and retail hardware stores.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take charge of the credit management processes for Fletcher Building Limited and its affiliated entities. As a Group Credit Manager, you will oversee accounts receivable, collections, and dispute management, while maintaining clear reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.

You will play a key role in driving business results by fostering strong working relationships across teams, utilizing your expertise in data & reporting, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring high governance standards and building a team that thrives on collaboration and excellence.

Ideal Skills and Capabilities Required
  • Proven track record in customer collections and business development
  • Assess the creditworthiness of potential and existing customers
  • Thorough knowledge of legal obligations (PPSA, Trade Practices & Privacy Acts)
  • Experience on an Open Item operating system (cf. Balance Brought Forward)
  • Advance in Microsoft Office, Knowledge of SAP & S4/Hanna
  • Experience on ASIC, Dun & Bradstreet, Veda and ABR database desirable
  • Members of AICM will be highly regarded
  • Experience with Debtors Insurance and its requirements
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Great communication, relationship management and influencing capabilities
  • Experienced & passionate people leader
