Regulatory Compliance Manager

At Randstad, we are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Manager to support our client in achieving their renewable energy targets. As part of this exciting initiative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable energy future for Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all regulatory and compliance matters, providing expert advice across the business
  • Oversee the maintenance and continual improvement of the obligations register, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and deliver compliance reports to senior leadership, offering actionable insights
  • Proactively monitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory changes, assessing their impact on the business
  • Review and advise on new products and business activities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations
  • Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of a robust compliance training program
  • Conduct thorough compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate risks
  • Provide expert advice on the controls assurance framework, ensuring effective risk mitigation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance within a highly regulated industry
  • Strong track record in building and managing regulatory obligations registers
  • Experience within an Australian energy retailer or generator is highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or a related field are highly valued
