This role offers a unique opportunity to work on both mechanical systems and structural integrity of plant equipment, infrastructure, and shutdown projects in the mining and resources sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysing and assessing plant equipment and structural components.
  • Designing modifications to optimise existing mechanical and structural systems.
  • Assisting in the design and coordination of new equipment installations, including load-bearing supports, platforms, and foundations.
  • Supporting shutdown planning — including developing detailed work packs, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Preparing technical specifications for tendering, reviewing supplier proposals, and supporting contract awards.
  • Collaborating with experienced engineers on troubleshooting and problem-solving for both mechanical and structural challenges.
