Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team for one of Western Sydney's transformative infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering support for the installation and delivery of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the installation and testing of mechanical systems, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical documentation, including method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and NCRs.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff to ensure effective project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior engineering role within infrastructure, building services, or mechanical works.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies and relevant Australian standards.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
