Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Maintenance Role Overview

This key position is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical systems and equipment. This includes conducting regular mechanical maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems and components, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.

Key Focus Areas

  1. Maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.
  2. Fault finding on automated systems.
  3. Analysis and enhancement of system performance using data analytics.
  4. Providing technical support to customers.

Requirements

  1. Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical
  2. Strong mechanical background working on industrial automated equipment.
  3. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  4. Good written and verbal communication skills (English).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).
  2. Experience in logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems.
  3. Experience with maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  4. Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems).
