Support Worker
About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to clients.
This role involves providing personalized in-home care services, promoting independence and dignity for our clients. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management;
- Encourage social interaction and community participation;
- Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided;
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals;
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification;
- At least one year of experience in the care industry;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Valid police check and working with children check (NSW) or Blue and Yellow Cards (QLD);
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate;
- First Aid Certification;
- Comprehensive insurance (if transporting clients);
- Driver's license and reliable transportation;
