Business Banking Professional

Are you a commercial lending expert seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Banking Professional to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to small business customers, understanding their needs and providing relevant solutions.

  • Originate commercial lending solutions up to $1M, asset finance, merchant facilities and everyday banking solutions that meet the unique needs of each customer.
  • Engage with customers to support their business and personal goals, preparing for conversations to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Represent our brand within the local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition and hosting educational events to support the financial wellbeing of businesses.
  • Regularly attend stakeholder meetings to build relationships, identify referral opportunities and address service pain points.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial lending or B2B sales.
  • Sound financial analysis skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement/management skills.
  • Ability to facilitate customer conversations, manage pipelines and ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Passion for supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs.
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation and Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or equivalent.
