We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our geological team and expand our business services in the mining sector. This key role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, providing leadership and client development, and delivering high-quality technical services related to geological modeling, resource estimation, and mineral reporting.

Job Description:

This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced geologist to join a dynamic and innovative organization and contribute to the growth and success of our business. You will be responsible for leading geological modeling efforts, performing data validation, and developing business opportunities with new and existing clients. Additionally, you will provide training and mentoring to junior staff members and participate in project management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in geology or engineering geology, or a related field of study
  • Advanced degree in a related field of study (preferably)
  • Professional registration (e.g., CGeol)
  • At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of experience working in a consulting environment
  • A strong track record in business development, including proposals leadership, and stewarding and building client relationships
  • Significant experience performing and leading Mineral Resource Estimation and reporting services related to the mining sector
  • Ability to act as QP/CP in accordance with international standards (e.g., NI 43-101, JORC)
  • Experience managing the overall delivery of projects, including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management
