Area Sales Business Developer

This role involves driving business growth by signing new agents and meeting/exceeding sales targets through new agent acquisitions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Meeting/exceeding sales quotas across the territory through new agent acquisition and increasing same store sales.
- Managing the end-to-end sales process for independents, including selling the complete product portfolio and implementing agents.
- Prospecting, negotiating, signing contracts with new agents, collecting required documents, submitting complete packages, driving activation, and training locations.
- Focusing on ramping up new locations to ensure they achieve full revenue potential.
- Managing existing accounts within the territory to increase same-store sales.
- Visiting high-performing locations regularly to identify and address issues within the current network.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in business development, external sales, account development, or servicing customer products in Regional Australia.
- Effective management and conversion of a sales pipeline.
- Strong negotiation and decision-making skills to win new business.
- Ability to present and listen to agents, building trust and confidence.
- Experience in phone-based business development and face-to-face sales for opportunity generation and conversion.
- Fluency in English is required; other foreign language skills are a plus.
- Organization, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work individually or collaborate with others in a global, fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, making quick decisions, and managing tight timelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and software to deliver customer solutions.
- Driver's license and ability to travel.
