Job Opportunity

  • This role is focused on leading a team to pursue and close large deals in the infrastructure outsourcing space. The successful candidate will be responsible for farming existing accounts, hunting new ones, and working closely with vertical engagement managers to proactively pursue targeted accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Farming of existing accounts and opening up new ones.
  • Hunting large infrastructure outsourcing deals in targeted new accounts and existing customers.
  • Leading the deal by engaging with customer, advisors, vertical teams, partners and CIS delivery.
  • Developing technical solutions that create value and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Representing Cloud and Infrastructure services solutions to customers and assisting in client presentations, due diligence and transition activities.
  • Translating business needs into technical system solutions.
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert providing direction and guidance to technical teams working on solution elements.
  • Assembling required resources/skills to develop technical proposals.
  • Assisting in opportunity qualification and risk assessment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15-18 years' experience in Infrastructure Management, Operations, or Technology Consulting with a minimum of 10 years' experience as a Cloud and Infrastructure sales person.
  • Prior experience of leading large deals and working with sourcing advisors like ISG, KPMG, ITNewcom etc.
  • Broad infrastructure experience and being a Subject matter expert in one or more Infrastructure discipline (e.g. Networking, Datacentre design, Storage, etc.).
  • Ideal candidate should have held a position of CTO, Director / or higher in Infrastructure Management / Operations or Infrastructure Engineering or lead a solutions / delivery team for an Infrastructure service Provider.
  • Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of various Infrastructure technologies and articulating the key tenets of various technology options.
  • Excellent understanding of Infrastructure project management practices.
  • Thoroughly understanding the Infrastructure / Datacentre outsourcing industry, landscape, key issues and strategies of major technology players.
  • Detailed understanding of the clients / infrastructure business processes and relating to the client from a domain / technology perspective.
