As a key professional in the mining sector, this Senior Environmental Advisor role is pivotal in ensuring environmental compliance and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environment, mining, and heritage legislation in Western Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing monitoring and reporting activities to ensure timely completion and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinating technical studies to support environmental approval applications.
  • Preparing and submitting environmental approval applications, including Part V Prescribed Premise Licences and Works Approvals.
  • Interpreting legislation and government guidelines to guide site operational teams in maintaining compliance.

Additionally, this role involves contributing to the development and execution of team objectives, targets, and plans, as well as participating in sustainability projects and business improvements.

Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders are essential for success in this position.
